Black-Eyed Pea Dip


2 jars(5 oz. each)old english cheese
1/4-1/2 Stick butter
1/2 medium onion chopped
2 cans(15oz each)black-eyed peas
3 jalapeno peppers seeded and diced
1 can (4oz)chopped green chilies
garlic salt to taste
corn chips or crackers (triscuits)

Melt cheese over low heat. In a skillet melt butter and cook onions until soft. Drain peas and add to melted cheese. Add onions jalapenos chilies and garlic salt. Mix well and serve hot in chafing dish w/ crackers or corn chips. 6 cups.
