Ginger Crinkles # 2


3 C flour

3/4 C brown sugar

3/4 t baking soda

1 T cinnamon

1 T ginger 

pinch ground cloves

1/2 t salt

3/4 C butter at room temperature

3/4 C molasses

2 T milk

1/2 C powdered sugar for rolling

In a large bowl mix the flour sugar baking soda cinnamon ginger cloves and salt.  Add the butter and rub in until you've reached the texture of coarse breadcrumbs.  I use dough cutter then hands.  Add milk and molasses.  Mix until you form a dough.  Refrig for at lease 2 hours.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Line cookie sheets w/ parchment.  Use small cookie scoop then spoon a leveled ball of dough.  Roll in powdered sugar (make sure they are generously and evenly coated).  Arrange cookies about 2 apart.  Bake for exactly 14 min.  Allow to cool slightly then place on wire rack.  😋
