Potatoes Grandmere


8 potatoes peeled and cut into 1/8slices
salt and white pepper to taste
2-1/2 C heavy whipping cream
3 T dijon mustard
3 garlic cloves minced
3 T butter
1/3 C grated parmesan cheese

Layer sliced potatoes in a 9X13 glass baking dish and season w/ salt and pepper. Combine cream mustard garlic and butter in heavy saucepan and heat just to the boiling point. Pour over potatoes.

Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cover and evenly top w/ parmesan cheese. Bake 30 minutes longer or until cheese is golden brown and potatoes are tender. Serve immediately. Serves 8-10. yum!
